Quick change ring swivel is for the construction of the spinner rig or Ronnie rig. 

The purpose of the clip makes changing hooks quicker which eliminates the need to bend open and close the wire. These swivels need to be used with shrink tubing or large kicker to cover the link and to keep the hooks set at your chosen angle.
